The Window...

The NOT SO SECRET Window... or, THE LONG FORGOTTEN WINDOW.
It's a window ok... you get it.
(Written by Michelle and SarahH)

Well, it looks like its been there a while. Michelle spotted it while her and Sarah were eating in the barn at a strange relative's place.

Strangely enuf, they're not sure exactly why they were eating in the barn. It's really rather spooky and it smells like machinery... And theres an odd looking cabinet becide an old fridge with the word "BONEY" written across it. Curious. Very Curious. Michelle and Sarah opened it, but there weren't any skeletons or treasure or anything that looked like it might belong to Napoleon in there.

But there were voices in the barn...
That only Michelle could here. They told her about a man (they called him the suicidal farmer) who hung himself from a green tractor. He is said to haunt the barn. When Michelle told Sarah, she didn't believe her.

But Sarah could here the barn creaking and the chain abover her head, which hung from the rafter, swayed as if something were on the end of it, even tho there was no wind inside the barn.

Even after hearing this, Sarah still did not believe Michelle about the voices.

Not even after the door to the mysterious cabinet slammed shut while they reached for one of the documents inside did Sarah believe Michelle. But then, after that happened, SarahH and Michelle stepped back one step, then two, then a ladder fell behind them and the tripped over it and fell.

And Michelle heard the voices again...
The voices told her to look closely at the window.

Strangely enough the window they had spotted earlier was the only window in the building. And it wasn't even IN the wall. It was more leaning against it the wall. They glanced in the window, but they didn't see anything until Michelle remembered that the voices had told her to look CLOSELY soo... Michelle stepped closer and squinted at her reflection in the window for a minute, then stepped back, frightful, and exclaimed, "OMG!" (which is like her favorite thing to say.)

Tessa's poem that doesn't rhyme

(dictated by Tess, written by SarahH)
(YOu gotta read this with an English accent or it wont make sence) lol
There was a man
And a woman
Who kissed
And there was no spark
Although they could have sworn the felt something...
Maybe it was the cool breeze of the summer day
Maybe it was the chill of discustingNess running up their spine
The time was almost midnight
And the woman had to run back the the castle
In bare feet
If she did not return in time
Prince Charming would question her
And she couldn't lie to her beloved husband.
But the Blacksmith
Whom she had kissed
Chased after her
Back to the castle
Where there he saw the woman
Being hugged be Prince Charming
So he pulled out his dagger
And stabbs hisself in da heart
Fell to his knees
and the woman rushed to his side as he died.

As she wept
Prince Charming had a thought!
"I must cut off this blacksmith's head to save my kingdom, and more importantly, me!"
Prince Charming then cuts off the blacksmith dude's head.
The woman, in horror grabbs the dagger (from the blacksmith's corps) and stabbs Prince Charming thoughtlessly
AND THEN noticing what she had done,
She the withdrew the blade from her husband's heart and stabbs herself.
With no one there to cut off her head, she becomes a vampire
And the end of the kingdom is nigh.

THE END of my non-rhyming, depressing, nonsensical poem.
Sock! stupid sock you!
The end of your time being on my foot is nigh!
OH! Is this thing still on??
Is the writer still writing??!
Hey! Hey, oo write this -

Piroticmusical: Alloneword

Right so there's, like, this pirate....(gal or guy??) (michelle says: I like chicken...guy) right so this like, pirate, was like, a like, guy. and his name was....( name??) (one eye'd bob) right, so his name was ONE EYED BOB and he was from new zealand (cuz they have really cool accents there) and he was in a musical called the "The teapot is alive with the sound of death" and it's a romantic-comedy by: Michelly Paton who was really bored during mathclass one day last month during science. And tEssa was eating a piece of chicken at the computer. So One Eyed Bob, or Taco - as they called him there...at the art show at the pizza parlor around three o-clock in da morning. So Taco, was playing the part of the teapot's father, tommy in da play, and he had to rememberize (that's such a cool word aint it?!) (It's more wonderfuller than da staws.) his mom's phone numer. HER name is Drunk-anapple-jooseinda-merninkof-threeoconkdayeer-offifve Teeno-One. And his sistersname is Tinkerbella, but she died of a bad decision some hundred years befro this story ever was decided on to be a story so she comes up alot, but no one really knows why. ... (wuts the name of this story Michelly?) (well, this is a romantic-lite-comedy...and his nickname is taco, hmm....and he's a pirate in a play in a pizza parlor, and we're completely off topic..) (did you guys even have a topic??) (I went to bed at two last night and I'm not tired!) (Tess if you're tired, go to bed! I'm gonna stay up here and party all night!) (guys don't talk so fast it's hard to keep up!) (Anyway, back to the title...) (ok this is weird guys!!) (OH! I got it! Piroticmusical: Alloneword) (can we doo something more exciting now?) (what can be more exciting than writin a nonsencical story to a person I don't even know?!) So like, in the art show inthe pizza parlor, he was getting married, but he didn't really know cuz he THOT he was in a musical, but he ended up lik, getin like, hitched to like, this chick Roseina Winebottle, who's a mosquito from Koboki - the planet of jusdepommes, which is somewhere undiscovered so far...

These are my blog comments for art.

Graphic novel.
Did you use photos or drawings or both to create your graphic novel?I tried to use both photos and drawings in my graphic novel. But I ended up using mostly photos. How did you incorporate the psychology of font into your text?I tried to be consistant with the font. I know that in the past I have used too many fonts in projects and, this time i wanted to stay simple and avoid confusion. How did you consider communication of a clear storyline using anchor images and layout styles for each of the pages? I did consider the communication of a clear story line, unfortunately, in 5 pages, I was unable to show an entire story, it's unfortunate there isn't a class for just this project on it's own. That'd be sweet. Then we could write a real long graphic novel! anyway. I tried my best to establish the begining of my story which has to eventually end in 'to be continued' and I say eventually because I was unfortunately unable to complete the project. But I would really like to complete it in the future for my own amusement. How did you incorporate original ideas and creativity into your piece? I encorporated my originale ideas of drawings inthe title, first, second, and fourth page. I wasn't able to do my original idea of hand sketching all the backgrounds, however I was able to manipulate the photographs to make them look more like my drawing style. Describe what the most important elements and principles of design were in your work and how you used the power of the program.I used the power of the program to suck the colour out of the photographs and i used the 'posterise' filter to make some photographs appear less lifelike.

Installation art
What idea did you present? I presented my locker with verious relevent objects in it.
How did you communicate your idea in a site specific way? I created my idea in a specific way by taking examples of my life to demonstrate the life of an average teenager my age. I also stated my theory on the door.
What materials did you use? I used a variety of materials including school work, artwork, a magazine, a microphone, my starbucks mugs, the josh box, and many maganets I have made myself.
Did the audience understand what you were communicating? I think generally the audience was very keen on what I was trying to comunicate. They even caught some of the themes within the theme.
How would you improve your installation if given the opportunity? No I wouldn't improve on this project given the opportunity. I think it turned out awsome. I wouldn't have it any other way.
